Maintenance workers

This is a photo closeup of the lower bow deck area of the ship where passengers weren't allowed, and a maintenace worker cleaning the surfaces.

They washed down the deck regularly and used what looked like an industrial grade floor cleaner to clean the decks.

This maintenance is required, although you could see in non-critical bits of the ship spots of rust.
